AMPSensor

Otari's AMPSensor is a traction motor cable-mounted hall-effect sensor device. The function of AMPSensor is to read traction motor currents up to 1200 amps and turn these into a galvanically-isolated voltage for transmission to Tranzlog. AMPSensor achieves this by using a hall-effect sensor, accurately calibrated and highly linear, and an integral interface box with electronics for power supply and signal conversion.

Otari's AMPSensor works with VOLTSensor in order to provide horsepower output values.
