ABOUT OTARIRAIL INTERNATIONAL

Otari Electronics Limited was established in the 1970s. OtariRail International Limited carries out the international marketing and support for the rail products of Otari Electronics Ltd. Otari has developed a strong reputation for excellence and innovation in rail product design development and manufacturing. As a testament to this world-leading innovation, the design features of our first major product, Locolog  have been adopted worldwide. In 1993 Otari won the prestigious "Finalist's Award for Innovation" at the ECNZ Lord Ernest Rutherford Awards: the award recognized our unique Electric Rail Fault Location System, which is fitted throughout New Zealand's electrified main trunk network.

Now, Otari's prime focus is on the IP-connected rail environment of the 21st century. By integrating the advanced Internet technologies of our Servicetrack range of computer room products into Tranzlog, Otari is enabling new levels of operational efficiency and information flow in rail operations.   In addition our RealTime Server collects live data from locomotives and multiple units and reports position, performance and exception issues within 5 seconds of the event over the entire fleet. The system is scalable to the largest railroad environments.

Otari has a constant stream of new products under development which integrate the best of software, semiconductors and packaging to produce the most advanced products of their type in the world - products which enhance the safety and efficiency of rail operations.

As of April 2010, Otari Electronics Ltd manufactures around 65 products for Railway operations.  Currently OtariRail International sells its products into three distinct geographic areas around the world, with further International expansion slated for the end of the year.
