LEDs have the ability to provide a mixture of diffuse and spot lighting in the same unit. QuadLight© uses a combination of diffuse and narrow angle LEDs to provide spot illumination to enhance the driver's in-cab comfort whilst enhancing safety by improving instrument visibility without compromising exterior and night visibility. The QuadLight© LED Driver's Light emits a bright, focused beam of white light which greatly enhances driver's ability to read running instructions, without generating reflections off the front and side windows that impair external visibility at night. In addition the LED light emits virtually no heat, which improves in-cab driver comfort. Finally the LED light has a very long life which reduces maintenance downtime and makes it a very economical alternative to more conventional fluorescent and incandescent lamps.
Otari's QuadLight© is highly efficient, requiring less than 5 Watts and has the equivalent output of four 7 watt fluorescent tubes.
