PASYS PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM
The PASYS public address system is designed for either new or as a replacement for existing PA systems in transit coaches. The equipment is composed of three modules:
Microphone and preamp
Power supply (for preamp and power amplifiers)
Speaker enclosure with power amplifier
Microphone and preamp
The driver / guard uses a microphone
with built-in speaker to talk over the system.
The unit has a secure hook, magnetic catch which holds it in place in any situation.
The preamp takes the output from the microphone and amplifies it to a level suitable for reticulation over the trainlines.
Power Supply
The power supply converts the high
DC voltage of the transit coach to a level useful to the PASYS unit. This is
then reticulated via coach wiring. The power supply is a high efficiency
switching supply for the ultimate in reliability and efficiency.

Speaker Enclosure
The speaker enclosure houses a rugged 20 watt audio speaker and low distortion (audio quality) power amplifier. Each enclosure has potentiometer adjustment for output to ensure pleasant and adequate volume matching throughout the coach.
